PPi announces release of My Compass web portal v.1.0.0.0 to provide a convenient interface to view and interact with Care Compass member data

Black Earth, WI - January 19, 2015 - Productive Programming, Inc. (PPi) is thrilled to announce the initial release of the My Compass web portal (v.1.0.0.0) to meet the needs of Medicare-Medicaid Plans (MMP) serving dually eligible populations and Medicaid Managed Long Term Care Plans (MLTC). Care Compass is a work station-based HIPAA compliant care management and payment solution to manage beneficiary enrollment, eligibility, care management, claims, payment and subsidy information.  The My Compass web portal provides non-Care Compass, external users limited access to Care Compass data as well as other abilities such as requesting member services, administering assessments, and sending messages to other portal users. A common example of such users are the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) members for Fully-Integrated Dual Advantage (FIDA) plans and plan members themselves.  To ensure the secure exchange of health information, administrators can set security settings to limit access to the portal to certain team members, as well as limit access to certain portal modules.

The great benefit of the My Compass portal is since it is a web-based application, care team members can view, discuss, and update health-related data from a mobile device during a member’s in-home assessment or encounter.  New or data revised on the portal during a member encounter are updated in real-time to the member’s record stored in Care Compass.
